Manager of Loan Audit and Collections

Position: 

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Credit and Risk Management, the Manager of Loan Audit and Collections develops and maintains effective controls for the collection of deliquent loan accounts. In addition, the Special Accounts Officer also assists the AVP of Credit & Risk Management in reviewing and making recommendations on commercial and agricultural loan requests submitted for Credit Committee approval. Working with complex loan files, the Manager of Loan Audit and Collections is responsible to analyze loan risk exposure and determine appropriate allowances. This position is responsible for the development and management of Spectra Credit Union's loan quality audit program.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

The successful applicant will have...

  • Minimum Grade 12 plus education
  • Additional courses in related subjects
  • Minimum five (5) years lending experience
  • Advanced commercial and agricultural lending experience
  • Experience in the loan collection and realization process
  • A thorough understanding of Credit Union legislation and regulatory compliance
