Tim Schroh, Chief Executive Officer Tim started in the Saskatchewan credit union system in 1988 after graduating from the College of Commerce at the U of S. In 1991, Tim took his first credit union General Management position and has spent the rest of his career in a CEO/GM capacity. Tim is the current chair of the Saskatchewan Southeast Enterprise Region and a member of the Estevan Rotary Club. Tim's wife Denise Fisher is also a credit union manager. In their leisure time, they enjoy skiing, running, music and motorcycling. They have 2 adult sons. |
Norm Nicol, Executive Vice President, Relationship Services Norm is a career banker with over 39 years of experience; 21 years with a major Canadian chartered bank, and the remaining time in his career with the credit union system. He has worked in Manitoba, Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan with the primary focus of his career being on lending and business development. Norm joined Spectra in June of 2008. Norm is an active member of the Woodlawn Golf Club and the Rotary Club of Estevan, including a Paul Harris Fellowship. Norm and his wife Meredith have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.

Cory Prokop, Executive Vice President, Finance Cory began his credit union career in 1989 while attending the University of Regina. He came to Estevan in 1993 and began his Spectra Credit Union career as the Controller for the organization. Cory was promoted to his current role at Spectra in 2004. Cory has been actively involved in the community as a coach for minor hockey, minor lacrosse, and high school football. He was a volunteer fire fighter for 13 years and is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Estevan, currently serving as the club's treasurer. Cory represented Rotary District 5550 as the Group Study Exchange team leader to England in the fall of 2009. Cory enjoys golfing and camping with his wife Michella and their three sons in the summer months. He is an avid sports fan. GO Riders GO! |
Tami Scott, Executive Vice President, Marketing & HR Tami has 21 years of experience in the financial services sector, with 19 of those years being an EVP at Spectra Credit Union. During that time, she has participated in many credit union system committees both provincially and nationally as well as obtaining her Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (Honors). Tami is actively involved with the group Eastern Star, is chair of the Oxbow New School Project Committee, and active with the Oxbow Rink Board, Oxbow Figure Skating Club, and Oxbow Minor Baseball Assoc. Tami and her husband Ian have 2 children living at home, and they actively support their sport and community activities. In her spare time, Tami loves to golf, swim, and read. |
Lorrie Waronek, Executive Vice President, Risk Management Lorrie has worked for 18 years in the financial services industry, with 14 of those years being with the credit union system. He has held positions in wealth management and brokerage services, life insurance services, and management roles with the Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation. Lorrie has been a member or involved with a number of organizations including OCIA Organics Chapter 8, Kinsmen, United Way, and numerous professional organizations. Lorrie and his wife Louise have three children at home. His leisure time is influenced by his family's many sporting activities as well as camping, boating, dirt biking, golfing, and hiking. The balance of his free time is enjoyed participating in his family run organic grain farm. |
