Spectra Community Foundation Inc.
Sharing our Success. Growing our community.
Spectra Credit Union takes pride in investing in the dreams that help our members succeed. For us, community goes beyond business relationships and therefore we support the charities and volunteer organizations that help make our communities strong. In order to share our financial success with the community, the Spectra Credit Union Board of Directors initiated the Spectra Community Foundation that will allow financial sponsorships to be directed to non-profit groups in Spectra's trading area.
Spectra Community Foundation Spring 2010
The Spectra Community Foundation will be accepting applications from non-profit organizations for community projects such as capital building projects, capital equipment purchases, or unique one-time programming projects. The deadline for the Spring 2010 allocation is Friday, March 5, 2010. Applications are available at any Spectra Credit Union branch, or by clicking here. This funding is for projects that will be completed by March 31, 2011.
About Spectra Community Foundation Inc.
Following a successful financial year in 2007, the Board of Directors of Spectra Credit Union opted to allocate $500,000 toward the establishment of Spectra Community Foundation Inc. It was determined that these funds would be granted to capital projects or designated programming that will enrich our communities.
The Spectra Community Foundation Inc. is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors from various geographical regions in the Spectra Credit Union trading area. If you are interested in being part of this foundation, please contact your nearest branch of Spectra Credit Union.
