Spectra Credit Union Post-Secondary ScholarshipHide

The Spectra Credit Union Post Secondary Scholarship was originally named "The Vern Buck Post-Secondary Scholarship", in honour of retired Chief Executive Officer, Vern Buck.  Spectra decided to continue on with this scholarship as it supports our mission of "Supporting Dreams and Building Communities".  Spectra feels that providing a scholarship to a student in post secondary education assists in supporting the dreams of tomorrow's community builders.

This scholarship, in the amount of $1,500 is awarded annually.  Deadline for applications are the end of August each year.  The scholarship is presented each October, in conjunction with Credit Union Day.

Although the scholarship is not course specific, preference will be given to students attending technical or university courses in the fields of Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or Computer Science.

Application forms are available at your local Spectra Credit Union branch, or by downloading the application. Full details about the scholarship can be found by downloading the brochure.
