After 6 months of construction, the Redvers Branch of Spectra Credit Union held their Official Grand Re-Opening Ceremony on Thursday, December 11, 2009.
The original building, constructed in the early 1970’s received a complete make over. Architects for the renovations were the McGinn Group based in Regina, with the general contractor being TL Penner. The project included a full interior and exterior renovation, including the addition of a new 24 hour ATM.
Speaking at the ribbon cutting, Omer Carriere, Mayor of Redvers thanked Spectra for their on-going commitment to the community, stating that a project of this size provides evidence to the community that Spectra truly is committed to building Redvers.
Also speaking at the ceremony were Lucille George, Branch Manager, Tim Schroh, CEO of Spectra Credit Union, and Wayne Amos, President of the Spectra Board of Directors. All of these Spectra representatives thanked the Members of the Redvers Branch for their patience and understanding during the renovation process, as there was major construction to contend with during their visits in the past 6 months.
