Unauthorized Phishing Email Sent to CUCARDS Online Cardholders

Please be advised of a phishing email attempt members may receive regarding the online MasterCard site www.cucardsonline.com. Users are directed to an imposter site where personal information is requested. This is not a valid email and should not be responded to. Information regarding the attempt will be posted to the legitimate site and an email will be sent to the site users advising of the phishing attempt. The CUETS contact center and loss prevention teams are standing by to assist cardholders.

The following is the email being received by some MasterCard card holders. THESE E-MAILS ARE FRAUDELENT - PLEASE DELETE THIS E-MAIL AND DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK IN THE MESSAGE.

"In order for us to work faster and provide you high quality services, all accounts must be renewed by Thursday, July 15 2010, 6 p.m., otherwise access to your account will be restricted.

Please click the link below in order to renew your online banking account.

www.cucardsonline.com

Thank you for your understanding."
