Spectra's Post Secondary Scholarship

Applications are now available for the Spectra Credit Union Post-Secondary Scholarship.  This is a $1,500 scholarship that is awarded to a student in their second year of post-secondary education.  Although the scholarship is not course specific, preference will be given to students attending technical or university courses in the fields of Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or Computer Science. 
Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • must be a resident of Saskatchewan
  • must be a member of Spectra Credit Union for a period of a minimum six months prior to the application date
  • must be attending their second year of post-secondary education
  • must be enrolled in a diploma or degree program at a an accredited post-secondary campus.
Selection Criteria:

Applicants must have maintained a minimum of 70% in their first full year of post-secondary education.  Applicants must also be enrolled in full-time studies in their second year.  When the successful applicant is being chosen, consideration will be given to the applicant's involvement and participation in extra-curricular activities.
